The 9th Global Social Business Summit will take place in Wolfsburg on 8th and 9th November. It is the world's leading forum on social business. Among the speakers is Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus.
The annual Global Social Business Summit (GSBS) is the world's leading forum on social business. The aim of the event is to raise awareness of the topic, promote knowledge transfer and initiate partnerships for new social business enterprises. Every year, around 800 participants gather here. The 9th edition takes place under the motto "Building a new civilization" and offers the following main topics: Plastic and Circular Economy, Mobility, Solidarity, Sports and Social Business, and Food and Its Value. Anyone who is interested is invited to participate. This year's speakers include Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus, Hans Reitz (CEO of the Grameen Creative Lab) and the founders of the NGO Sing for Hope. Also represented: Social Businesses that are already successfully addressing various social issues.
Two pre-events will take place around the GSBS. From 6th to 7th November, students and young professionals will meet at the Young Challengers & Pioneers Meeting, as well as scientists and researchers, who will discuss together at the 7th Social Business Academia Conference.
